Accomplices these first warm, my imagination is already set up sets of swimwear + sandals + sunglasses. Plus, she always, my fantasy, begins to wander around the world dwelling on the places that have always attracted her.
Ibiza is among these.
Ibiza understood as the island of slowness, sunsets, and silence (yes, there is also silence in Ibiza!), Is one of my dream-goals. And if I was given a home like the one we are about to see, we would be able to get close to the perfect holiday!
What will this house ever be special about? I would give all the credit to an enlightened owner, that is a great design enthusiast who didn’t skimp on his choices. Names such as Marcel Wanders, Patricia Urquiola, Antonio Citterio, Jean-Marie Massaud keep each other company on the walls of this charming house.
Let’s start with the pool, perhaps the most fascinating place: a small table and chaise-longue from the Springtime collection, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for B&B Italia. At the top of the stairs, Reel circular pouf by Atelier Oï.
In the living room, Tufty-too sofa and pouf by Patricia Urquiola for B&B (I love them !!!), JJ armchair and Frank coffee table by Antonio Citterio for B&B; Danish lamp. On the left wall, sculpture by Piero Gemelli; on the right, work of art by Rosa Martínez-Artero (Galleria Antonia Jannone).
And in the reading area? Husk Armchair and pouf by Patricia Urquiola, White Collection coffee table by Marcel Wanders, Shelf bookcase by Naoto Fukasawa for B&B Italia, photography by Aldo Lanzini, lamp by Martinelli Luce, Joint BCSXSY rug by Rossana Orlandi.
White kitchen! Gelso table, from the Outdoor collection by Antonio Citterio, Alma chairs by Roberto Barbieri for B&B Italia. On the table, a green bottle by Rossana Orlandi, and, on the hob, a kettle by Alessi.
Dining area: Canasta table by Patricia Urquiola and Metropolitan chairs by Jeffrey Bernett for B&B.
Bedroom: a panel of Contemporary Carpets, lamp by Martinelli Luce, rakú vase by Rossana Orlandi. And then, Charles bed and Frank coffee table, by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia, a panel of Contemporary Carpets.
Dislike? I know … house more urban than marine. But it’s beautiful, isn’t it?
